First published in 1978, The Snowman by Raymond Briggs was an original children's picture book without words, on the back of it's success it was transformed into a magical film in 1982. Despite being almost 30 years old this film is still loved by old and young across the world. Wonderfully reminiscent of Christmas and the snowy weather that the winter can bring, it has since been made into a theatre show which is shown across the UK.
