The box is pleasant to look at. It appears to be well constructed. All moving parts such as drawers move easily. Silks are in a good variety of colours, which are left for one to arrange in the drawers. It came well packed so was not damaged in any way..

I decided to buy this size rather than the larger one (lack of space)as I needed to restock on DMC threads and the box was an added bonus! The fact that the dividers can be removed means that there is even more space for threads. I am looking forward to cross stitch a design for the panel. The linen is provided - as well as useful ideas/patterns for it too. Haven't decided what to put in the top section yet - but there is plenty of room for lots of sewing accessories. The box would make a very good starter kit for those who have begun to cross stitch or who need somewhere to keep their stocks of thread and equipment needed. I thoroughly recommend this product. Excellent value for money.
