This cross stitch chart book from the Heritage Crafts Cross Stitcher's Guides To Britain series is devoted to the river Thames and it's surrounding areas, showing it's journey from source to mouth. Buildings and landmarks on or near it's bank are featured and information given about each one. An alphabet is included so the map can be personalised. These guides are produced to satisfy the growing number of cross stitchers who are looking for more detailed, interesting and challenging work. The stitching is detailed with half stitches and outlining stitches. A few require quarter stitches. Once you have mastered these stitches (and they are not difficult!) you will find it a joy to work them. A description of how to work half, quarter and outline stitches are included in each book. Each design is a picture in its own right, but you may wish to put all, or some together to make a large picture.
