NEW SITE * NEW PRODUCTS * NEW PRICES
Welcome to our new site. We'll try and be as brief as possible but there has been lots going on which we would like you to know about
It's taken us a little while to re-organise ourselves as we've been busy changing the structure of the company as well as the look and performance of the site, but we are now up and running and hopefully you will find a big improvement in all aspects of our offering.
AND keep looking on a regular basis as this is just Stage One. The coming months will see a lot of new initiatives which hopefully will add to your enjoyment and will certainly be a little bit different from any of our competitors.
To give you some idea of the sort of things we'll be up to, we have already added the Popcorn Bear Club to the Past Impressions portfolio. We have had a tremendous response from this with members joining from the obvious places, Europe and North America, and the less obvious, Venezuela, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Guatemala and Korea! A quick summary then of the changes we have made and the benefits to you;
FASTER The flexibility of the new site and the way we have organised it means it is faster and easier to navigate and therefore simpler to find things.
And faster means not just a speedier site but getting things to you faster as well. We are now back operating everyday of the week. For lots of reasons this has not been the case recently and we fully appreciate this had to be changed in order to ensure the best service for you.
MORE PRODUCT We are carrying not just more product but hopefully more relevant product. We have selected a variety of kits - old favourites; the best sellers from last year; new releases; some you may not be aware of; some we just like and hope you do too. We are also in the process of expanding our range of specialist needlecraft areas such as tapestry, needlepoint, long stitch, embroidery, crewel etc. so keep an eye on these areas of the site in the coming months.
And, if there is anything we do not feature which you would like, just e-mail us with details and we'll be back to you with price and availability within hours.
NEW PRICES We believe we now compare very favourably with our competitors. That's not to say we are cheaper in every case but overall we think our prices, service and future developments will mark us out as best value.
In addition to more competitive prices we have instigated "the price you see is the price you pay policy" across all of our sites. No additional fees, no postage to be added whatever the size of your order (so annoying getting to the shopping cart to find your bargain price is not such a bargain after all!!)*
DEVELOPMENTS Besides the initiatives mentioned above you can see we have streamlined many aspects of the site and will continue to do so to improve our offering to you - still more to do on accessories for instance. This we will do over the next couple of months so we have, what we believe, will be the very best website for stitchers by the Autumn.
While we are in this transitional stage we would welcome any thoughts, ideas, suggestions etc you may have as to how we can achieve our goals. We've got lots, but you're the customer, tell us what you want from a site; what annoys you about others; what you look for before buying. We would welcome your input and if we implement any such suggestions we've not thought of we will reward you with a FREE kit of your choice up to the value of £50. * The "price you see is the price you pay" policy applies to UK orders. For overseas orders a fixed rate charge of £2.50 is made for delivery to Europe, and £6.00 for the rest of the world. VAT will be deducted from orders outside of the EU.
